SoulHaus is at Fra Grge Martica 4, in the very heart of Sarajevo's old town. Here's what you can reach in 5 minutes or less without planning anything.

Sacred Heart Cathedral - 30 Seconds

Directly across the street. Built in 1889, it's the largest cathedral in Bosnia. The bells ring on the hour. On a clear morning the light through the stained glass is something worth seeing.

Gallery 11/07/95 - 1 Minute

On the same square as SoulHaus. A photography and video exhibition documenting the 1995 Srebrenica genocide. Important, moving, and not easy - allow 45-60 minutes and come ready for it.

Maison Coco - 30 Seconds

A French bakery directly across the street. Opens early. Makes the best croissants in the neighbourhood and does a strong espresso. Good starting point for any morning.

Baščaršija - 5 Minutes

Turn right out of the door and walk five minutes. You're in the Ottoman bazaar. Copper workshops, the Sebilj fountain, pigeons, coffee, and five centuries of history.

Ferhadija Street - 3 Minutes

The main pedestrian street connecting the old town to the Austro-Hungarian part of the city. Walk along it and watch the architecture change in real time from Ottoman to 19th-century European. There's a tile in the pavement marking the exact boundary.

Everything else in the old town is within 10 minutes. SoulHaus is not convenient to the old town - it is in the old town.
